Great breakfast, much more than just usual continental breakfast, filled us up till dinner time
Thin walls, could hear everything in the bathroom next door
The hotel was quiet and conveniently located for my meeting and well priced. The staff was friendly and the room clean and nice.
There were people smoking outside under my window.
Very good localization: quiet but near to the Saint Germain attractions
The smallest bathrooms I've ever seen
Location, price and pleasant courteous staff
Very noisy bathroom pipes
A wonderful location with an excellent variety of restaurants in close vicinity - including the exciting cafes of the Latin Quarter - all within easy walking distance. Close to transport, shops and galleries. Would definately stay here again when next in Paris.
Fantastic location, clean, updated rooms. Very quiet. Staff was helpful. I would definitely stay again if the rates remain as reasonable as they are for the area.
Rooms are very small. I was traveling solo, so this wasn't an issue, but it would be difficult to have two people and luggage in the smaller double rooms.
I like the location, the rooms, and the people are great.
WiFi was spotty my first visit and a week later completely out. Also unable to get me a cab on a Monday morning. That may not be their fault but it seemed odd.
The hotel is very conveniently located, with many cafes and restaurants in the immediate area; also expensive shops if that's what you're looking for (I wasn't). The nearest Metro stop is a block and a half away. The staff were helpful and a nice contrast to the general surliness of the French we encountered in the cafes and on the streets.
The room was very small and the bathroom tiny and smelled of mold. The "garden view" I expected was a view from five flights up of the tops of some umbrellas in the tiny hotel patio. I've stayed in this area twice before but was dismayed at how expensive it has become and never quite got over the vast discrepancy between cost and value, so I'm sure that influences my generally negative feelings about the experience.
Ideal location for exploring all Paris has to offer. Hotel staff was great - extremely helpful. Would definitely recommend/return again.
The reception staff were extremely helpful.
I found the room extremely cramped but have discovered since that it is the norm for a 3-star hotel.
Very good location and pleasant staff. Enjoyable breakfast.
Tiny room, little bit dusty in the corners.
The staff was very kind and friendly. The location was perfect for exploring the wonderful Saint Germain des Pres area (6th Arrondisement). There are good places to eat only 1 block away and there is plenty of opportunity for shopping and sight seeing in the area yet the hotel is quiet.
The heat seems to be turned off in Parisian hotels at the first sign of sunshine and heat. There was no heat in this hotel either, but they were gracious enough to find a portable heater for me which I greatly appreciated.
Very good service - the people in the receptions were utter smiles and helpfulness. The rooms are pretty small, but have great atmosphere and are clean. Nice inner yard. The location couldn't be better, in the heart of Saint Germain, on the cozy street Rue Jacob, right next to La Duree and also very close to both Metro and bicycle rental. I enjoyed my stay here a lot!
No iron in the room and no full figure mirror.
charming and calm hotel in an top location close to everything
we were on the 6th floor (attic) it was very hot especially in the summer it will be too hot. We would prefer the 1th ot 2th floor. Maybe you'll pay more but that's worth it. It would be better to book directly with the hotel because then you can discuss the room and give your preference.
Excellent location, in the center of st germain. Single room too small, with very small bathroom. Rest days that I stayed in a double room, much better evironment, cozy and nice bathroom. The personnel very helpful and kind. There was not much heat in the room. In general, it left me a nice feeling but too expensive for what is offered.
